A strong community will help you in several ways.
Good communities should: provide protection (like a neighborhood watch, neighbors watch out for others children), be places where local foods can be purchased or traded (farm stands and farmers markets), have good neighbors that can be good friends or be relied upon for some types of emergencies (child care, help with a flat, house/pet-sitting). A great neighborhood is one that has relationships that result in occasional block parties and other community events. Some communities are using apps to keep in touch. Keep in mind that some of these apps have been used to spread moccunist propaganda and censor ‘alternate thought.’
If the schools are bad in the area consider bringing back the one room school house or multi family home schooling. With communication in the community or between communities these mini schools can interact for certain subjects, field trips, art, music, physical education, sports… Bullying and persistent misbehavior shouldn’t be tolerated. Tolerating these behaviors from some will encourage copy-cat psychopathy in other children. Psychopathy is something that is currently tolerated and sometimes encouraged, this is not beneficial for the health of the community.
Communities should develop strong ties with neighboring communities. This can be beneficial when a local candidate is running for local, state or federal office. If the home community can speak well of the candidates character and recommend them for the position, the other communities can support that candidate with confidence. If the home community doesn’t support the candidate the others shouldn’t either. A concerted effort should be made to elect people that will serve the community, not just themselves. The communities should work, peacefully and within the law, to displace corrupt individuals from positions of power. See politics and government – elections.
Those of you that have lost your jobs may need to become creative with finances. Knowing a second or even third trade or skill could be beneficial to pick up side jobs. Sharing, bartering and trading should be considered. A supportive community will help you be able to do these things and they will look out for you if work is available in other places. Consider doing yard work, shopping, doggo walking, tutoring/homeschooling (for your children and others). Get creative, if someone doesn’t like a job or doesn’t have time to do it, they may be willing to pay you do to it. Strongly consider running for a local, state or federal office, if you are honorable your community will help get you elected. If there is a concern about skill sets, ask the communities about mentoring. While some positions may require specific knowledge, others may only need some on the job training.
