Scientist Kirb – There was an odd hiccup with the system at the end of the experiment. The sliders were held briefly before the suspension was released. We reviewed the entry log and found that both Kai and Nel had left their office briefly at the same time. They locked both terminals but one of the younger students had come in and tried to log into Nels terminal. When he found he couldn’t log on he left. Prior to leaving Nel had started compiling the audit results for the sliders to review when they came out of suspension. Compiling is memory intensive, the new log on attempt bogged the system down.
The sliders are back. The participants had a boisterous review party. Nels audit summery was well received. For some reason they really enjoyed the popcorn overlay that Kai added on to the audit. It’s possible that the capacity to process the extra sensory data stays for a short time after the exit. I will suggest that this phenomena be studied. The school tried to blame the hiccup on the boys. Mr. Grint suggested that they upgrade the terminals and has threatened to file a complaint with the Elders. I suspect that he may do it after they get their certificates. The school could use some fresh leadership.
