Scientist Kirb – The strangest thing happened. Apparently the school has been under scrutiny for a while now. My communication with Mr Grint, and all of my interactions with the boys were monitored. I have been debriefed and may be called back for further questions. They were impressed by my ability to learn the languages. Apparently the languages in the background static was noticed previously, but only a couple of people have been able to translate them. It is an extremely specialized area of study, there isn’t even an official name for what it is yet.
The investigators were aware that the school shuffled the boys off to an isolated space. The faculty were up to other shenanigans as well. Some currency and resources were ‘misplaced.’ One of the resources was a power source large enough to supply half the city. The curriculum was advertised as state of the art, but in reality was sub-par. Nel and Kai dramatically highlighted the deficiencies. The other students will be moved to other schools, but have to be tested first to see where they should be placed.
The school has lost its license to operate. All of the sliders were recalled early and the the project was shut down. They took all of the data from the project and all three of the brothers. Remi was placed in the home of one of his friends. The boys parents are under investigation. They are in custody and aren’t expected to regain their freedom. I don’t know what will happen to Nel and Kai. They are both artificial, they were created outside of a womb, they don’t have souls. Nel was created from a blending of five individuals, Kai was cloned from Nel and slightly altered, both of which are illegal to do. Law states that artificially modified or artificially created organisms must be destroyed. Their lawyers will argue for continued existence, but containment. All of the data collected will be presented and the parents will be given time in the court to explain themselves.
