11.06.18 – 1644 – Log – Maci
Kate gifted ‘tin pants’ to Jack. He won’t let me wash them. I hate them, they are no longer allowed beyond the mud room.
11.06.21 – 1522 – Log – Jackson
Kate made me some tin pants. They’re great. Maci doesn’t care for them and won’t let them in the house, I have a screen in the mudroom to change behind. I’m tempted to put in a man cave like Cam has but with a full bathroom. That way I could have a good shower before putting on clean clothes. Kate has offered a nano cleaner for everyday use and a ‘refurbishment’ every half year. The refurbishment is patching anything that needs patching, a full wash, and rewaxing. Tyler has a decent business with his bees now. Its nice having enough wax to make stuff like this. Jack happily makes his fire starters with the waste wax pretty regularly. Seems like cheating to use the nano cleaner. It’s interesting the changes that we have made in how we think now. Put in a man cave – substantial materials and work, or use a fancy widget. We have the time and the materials, the widget just doesn’t have any appeal …beyond appeasing Maci.
11.06.25 – 1434 – Log – Tyler
Jack has borrowed the outside shower from the old RV outdoor kitchen set up. He put it behind their shed. He has tin pants now and Maci won’t let them in the house. He said he was thinking about putting in a man cave like Cams, but with a shower. He wanted to try this out first to see if he would use it. He said that Kate gave him the pants and that she had originally planned to gift them to the outdoorsy people that would use them. She hasn’t because of Maci’s response. I have to say she is probably smart to hold off, Alana and maybe Marta are the only ones that would be okay with them, but then they both would probably want their own. It would be nice to have a pair, but like Jack I would need to change on the porch.
