08.02.03 – 2000 – Log – Elbert
Kate found a new type of rice today.

08.04.08 – 2000 – Log – Jackson
One of Kate’s sky scanners spotted a small prairie fire about twenty miles from the prison. We decided we will scrape a fire break tomorrow to see if we can contain it.

08.04.08 – 1322 – Log – Dakota
Kate has set young Jack up with her tractor, I am ‘supervising’ in the cab with him, per Maci. My job is basically to hit the ring button if the fire gets too close. We are scraping up the dried grass a good ways away from the work crew. He is doing an excellent job. He handles this machine as well as many of the men, and better than some. They are doing controlled burns between us and the fire. The plan is to starve the fire of fuel before it gets to the prison and activity center.

08.04.08 – 2000 – Log – Elbert
Some of the group intercepted and stopped a prairie fire today. Young Jack helped. He was so happy to be part of the work group. He scraped a good sized band and then changed out the scraper for a brush hog and used that until he got up to the work crew. Kate came back covered in soot and sweat. Maci dropped off a nice plate of food for her.

08.05.05 – 2100 – Log – Camden
Joshua was found hanging in his closet today. There was a letter to please not use the rings to save him. He wants to be home, if not on Thearn with his beloved then with God the beloved. The group is devastated.

08.05.12 – 2000 – Log – Elbert
Kate found something in the data from the sky scanners. We have had the data years now, but just haven’t had time to review it all. She sent several of the sky scanners and hundreds of mini drones to take a closer look. She called an emergency meeting after a two hour search.

08.05.12 – 2100 – Log – Jackson
Kate called an emergency meeting today and showed us something that resembled a social studies project I did in 6th grade. My project was a star fort. I had set it up with shops and buildings. It has the star fort shape and terracing, though its really over grown. The place looks to be loaded with domesticated foods that we had on Thearn. There is talk about reworking the RV’s and spending some time out there collecting data, cuttings and seeds. The group is happy, though pretty spooked too. We were deliberately chosen to be here, and whoever did it wants us to know.

08.05.15 – 2000 – Log – Elbert
Dakota called an adults only meeting to discuss a potentially prophetic dream. Jackson seems to have had a similar dream after young Jack was born. The children in the dream were younger than they are now and people from Thearn were present. She said that it suggested that we changed the time line. All eyes went to Kate after that, because she would be the one to find Thearn. Kate said that she has used to rings to grow crops, hide houses, and once sent a rock back for Charlotte. She explained the ‘build homes’ note that she got from the emergency box. She defended herself ‘I haven’t used the rings to change the time line.’ The group was excited by the build homes note. They viewed it as confirmation that Thearn was found.
Jackson asked if the emergency box was used any other time and Kate reminded him about the alpacas. She said it hasn’t received a message since.
Dakota said she thinks Kate will find Thearn soon and we should discuss the possibility of that. She said that if we send the data back and ‘found Thearn sooner’ we could send Joshua back, and bring people here. We could make a simulacrum for Ethan to kill and save Savannah. We could send the food and resource data back too. We could have more resources sooner and have our loved ones.
Maci asked ‘What about the children born after that time? I don’t want to lose my babies.’ Dakota replied we could send back conception dates. Jackson asked with a smirk ‘So we would ring back spy drones to determine that?’
There was some resistance to forcing a time line change. Though saving Joshua did have a strong pull in the group. Becca asked ‘What if we left it up to the younger us? What if we send the data and a summery of our dilemma? We could even send a recording of this meeting.’
Kate was quiet for most of the meeting, afterwards I asked her why. She said she didn’t want to influence anyone. She wants her family, I can’t wait to meet them. I think the group will choose to do it, though at this point Thearn hasn’t been found. We will meet again tomorrow to discuss again. If we decide to do this there are preparations that we can make.

08.05.16 – 2105 – Log – Jackson
We met again to discuss the proposed time line change, because even sending the data would be a time line change. We had an anonymous vote and it was unanimous to go ahead with it. Everybody has homework – prepare the package that you want to send.

08.06.26 – 1015 – Log – Elbert
Kate has found Thearn. She called the emergency meeting for it.

08.06.26 – 2105 – Log – Jackson
Kate found home. Everybody is rattled. We want to go and see people but we also want to send the data packet back. Now that it is time it’s a little unnerving to know that this version of us will cease to exist. Or maybe we won’t. We should though. George implied that their were multiple time streams. I’m interpreting that to mean fully separate. Cam rigged a multi-person button system, one for each of us. If one of us doesn’t press it the data doesn’t get ringed. Just one last precaution, just in case anyone has changed their mind.
